The European Commission had selected the 12 finalists for 2022 LIFE Awards. LIFE Fit for Reach project was one of them. A hybrid ceremony where the winners were announced took place on 30 May 2022 during EU Green Week. This special anniversary edition of the LIFE Awards honoured excellence in nature protection, environment, and climate action.
LIFE Fit for Reach project has been awarded as one of four best LIFE projects in the category “Environment” on 31st May 2022.
