The final report briefly describes all project activities and how they contributed to an improved chemicals risk management in Baltic Companies as well as to substitution of hazardous substances with less hazardous alternatives.

It pinpoints the observations of the project team according to several topics related to chemicals risk management in the companies, including overall awareness and competences, legal compliance, substitution or green procurement and advertising of products.

The report summarises that it is essential to continue efforts on basic chemicals risk management knowledge and skills to enable enterprises implementing substitution in the longer term. Several recommendations are derived for different actors on how they could contribute to an overall safer use of chemicals.
