will help companies to ensure a more efficient management of chemicals and to substitute hazardous substances

The national final events gathered more than 180 participants

To finish the project and inform stakeholders about the achievements of LIFE Fit for REACH the national final events took place in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

There were 34 participants, mainly companies and related associations, competent authorities and consultants at the Estonian national final event. The aim of the event was to introduce the results of the LIFE Fit for REACH project by giving an overview of the activities of the pilot and light case companies in Estonia, by presenting various materials and publications completed in the project that support the management of hazardous chemicals in companies and by discussing the project findings and policy recommendations. The feedback from the participants concluded that such projects are a big help for especially smaller companies and awareness raising and trainings regarding chemicals management are still needed and appreciated.
