will help companies to ensure a more efficient management of chemicals and to substitute hazardous substances

Chemicals Projects Platform Meeting in Riga this December: registration now open

07.10.2026

On 2 - 3 December, the Chemicals Projects Platform Meeting will take place in Riga, Latvia, at the Radisson Blu Daugava Hotel. The event brings together chemicals projects from across Europe to share experiences, showcase their work and discuss how to support circularity, create more sustainable products and avoid regrettable substitution.

The meeting is organised by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), the European Commission's Directorate-General for Environment (DG ENV) and the LIFE project FitForREACH-2, in cooperation with the Interreg Baltic Sea Region projects HAZGONE and ChemClimCircle.

The two-day programme includes working group discussions, an exhibition of project posters and the option to visit two Latvian manufacturing companies. Participants can present their projects through a poster and/or a short input in a working group. You can find the detailed agenda here.

Participation is free of charge. Travel costs are to be covered by participants' projects or the organisations they represent. A reduced room rate is available at the Radisson Blu Daugava Hotel for bookings made by 15 October.

How to register
In the registration form, enter the name(s) of the project(s) you represent and indicate whether you would like to give a short speech and/or prepare a poster.
