10 EU countries will discuss challenges of the REACH regulation

The international seminar "Enforcement practices with regard to the REACH Regulation" will take place on 1st and 2nd of February in Tallinn in the precence of representatives from The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and REACH enforcement authorities from ten EU countries. 

The primary aim of the seminar is to discuss the new developments and current state of the implementation of the EU's and international chemicals policy.

Participants from ECHA, national ministries, environmental protection agencies, health boards and other public institutions will deal with such topics as enforcement and use of Safety Data Sheets, enforcement of market restrictions (REACH Annex XVII), compliance with registration, and the “Right to know” (Art. 33) communication.

Participants will also discuss how to organize the vertical communication on different levels of stakeholders/suppliers with regard to the 2018 registrations and how to define the borderline between REACH and waste, and many other topics.
