NEW: FFR2 Chemicals Risk Management Training Kit now available

The Chemicals Risk Management Training Kit, developed as part of the LIFE FitforREACH-2 (FFR2) project, is now available on the Moodle learning platform. It includes 12 training modules designed to help companies improve chemicals management, reduce risks and meet relevant EU requirements.

The modules cover key aspects of chemicals risk management, from understanding chemical hazards and legislation to assessing risks, maintaining a chemicals inventory and ensuring safe storage and purchasing. They also explore safer alternatives to hazardous substances, occupational safety and health, reducing emissions and waste, and improving communication throughout the supply chain.

Each module takes approximately 25–60 minutes to complete and combines essential knowledge with practical approaches. Participants can also learn to use free tools for chemical risk assessment, try out the FFR2 MS Access®-based chemicals inventory tool, and complete a short self-assessment quiz at the end of each module to check their understanding.

The Training Kit is intended for formulators, article producers, service providers and other professionals involved in chemicals management who want to strengthen their knowledge and improve practices within their organisations.

To access the training materials, users need to enrol as a student on the Moodle platform.
