LIFE Fit for REACH-2 handbook for formulators now available in Hungarian
A vital resource for businesses working with chemical mixtures, the "Chemicals Risk Management Handbook for Formulators," is now available in Hungarian. The handbook offers practical guidance and a toolbox for companies to establish or enhance their chemical risk management systems. The goal is to empower businesses to systematically improve their management of hazardous substances, reduce their use and emissions, and find safer alternatives.
The LIFE Fit for REACH-2 project primarily supports SMEs in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland in managing chemical risks. However, the project is has expanded its reach into Central and Eastern Europe, with Hungary being the first focus country for this replication effort.
The Hungarian campaign is being led by the KÖVET Association for Sustainable Economies, a non-profit organization promoting environmentally responsible business practices. The release of the Hungarian-language handbook is a significant step in this expansion, providing local companies with the necessary tools and knowledge in their own language. KÖVET will also support Hungarian companies through information days, consulting services, and training sessions to help implement effective chemical risk management solutions.
The availability of this handbook in Hungarian marks an important milestone in fostering safer and more sustainable business practices across the region.
