New resource for Estonian companies: The LIFE FitForREACH-2 handbook for formulators is now available

We are pleased to announce that the comprehensive "Chemicals risk management handbook for formulators" developed as part of the LIFE FitForREACH-2 project, is now also available in Estonian.

The goal of the LIFE FitForREACH-2 project is to assist SMEs in the Baltic states in reducing the use of hazardous chemicals. Providing the handbook in national languages (Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Polish and Hungarian), is essential for bridging the gap between complex European regulations and daily industrial operations. By offering technical guidance in national languages, we eliminate the risk of linguistic misinterpretation—a critical factor when managing hazardous substances and ensuring workplace safety. Furthermore, a localized resource empowers small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to adopt sustainable practices more efficiently, as it removes the administrative burden of translation and allows teams to integrate green chemistry principles directly into their existing workflows and internal training.

The handbook is designed to be a practical tool for formulators navigating the complex landscape of chemical management, safety, and innovation.

The Estonian version of the handbook is now available together with Lithuanian, Hungarian and English version. We invite all industry professionals, environmental experts, and company owners to explore this guide and take the next step toward chemical excellence.
